Smartphone maker HTC's uncanny ability to produce crave-worthy Android handsets is turning into a problem for the official U.S. carrier. Everybody wants the EVO 4G, but Sprint just doesn't have enough. The phone is now listed as delayed without a shipping date.
Of course we at unlockeGPHONE.com have tons of HTC EVO 4Gs, unlocked and ready to rock, starting at $495.
HTC is blaming their touch screen manufacturer: Samsung. Sprint CEO Dan Hesse is feeling the pain. Yesterday he told the Wall Street Journal “we thought we would have more of a head start [with 4G adoption] than we’ll end up having.”
If you're waiting for Sprint to restock, you're probably in for a looong wait. Samsung won’t be able to handle the demand until 2012, when their new display factory is scheduled to open. In the meantime, go ahead and browse our selection of unlocked HTC EVOs and get the smartphone you want without the wait.
