We missed the interview CNN.com posted the other day with mobile phone inventor Martin Cooper, the former vice president of Motorola. Tas Anjarwalla had a chat with the man who helped change all of our lives: "We knew someday everybody would have [a cell phone]." Indeed!
Mr. Cooper shares that he is always testing new phones, and like a lot of gearheads, he uses more than one mobile. He drops a bomb towards the end of the interview when he shares that he gave his iPhone away, and is currently using the original Motorola Droid as his primary device.
I had an iPhone for a while, I gave that to my grandson. Kids are really caught up in that. But I think that the Android phones are catching up now, and the latest version of the Android phones are every bit as good, if not better, than the iPhone.
We agree, Mr. Cooper, we agree.
